Happy St Patrick's Day. The sun is out, a gentle wind is blowing and the temperature is 80 degrees. But come tomorrow, the 3rd Saturday of the month we are looking at a 50% chance of thunderstorms. This is important to me because I and another author have a booth at the Indie Faire in Gulfport on the 3rd Saturday of each month. We get rained out about half the time. The day before is great and usually, the day after is fine. I love doing the faire. We get to talk to locals and many folks from different parts of the country. The people-watching is fantastic. Plus I sell a few books. I made arrangements to meet with book clubs and was interviewed by the Gulfport Gabber. Really a great evening until the rain comes. Set up takes about an hour. Put up the booth, attach the lights and signs, and arrange the table display. We get set up and then it rains or we don't go at all because there is a 90% chance of rain. Tomorrow looks to be a rainy day. 50% chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening. Maybe the forecast will change. Keeping my fingers crossed. If the weather is nice, I hope you will come by and say hi. If not this month then maybe next month.
